Pink, Pocketed and Playful

I have a love/hate relationship with pink. Sometimes it just feels overly delicate and girly (which can be just the vibe I want SOME days of course.) When it comes to a bold pink like this though, bring it on no matter what my mood! This could potentially be the most comfortable dress I own. Thank you Trina Turk for making it acceptable to wear what feels like pajamas in public. 

Drawstring waist? Cozy material? POCKETS?! 

I only wish I had it in ever color of the rainbow.....

Aztec Gold

While it looks more like paisley from afar, its actually a cool Aztec inspired print, with that wonderful retro vibe I do love so much. No shocker here but my accessories are...gold! Ok, so maybe not points for creativity, but this dress makes me so happy I don't care. Did I mention it has pockets?

Walking on Sunshine

This dress just makes me happy. The sunny yellow shade and the floppy flowers just shout summer...and heatwave. A breezy dress combined with a high bun is the only way to go when the temperatures hit 100, well the only way appropriate for work that is. 

This is pretty much my uniform for the week, which turns into cutoffs and a tee on the weekend. Only thing missing is a giant iced coffee...

Peplum Party

While I love the look of peplum's on dainty runway models and 1940's movie sirens, I was never quite sure if I liked them on me. This dress has enough of a peplum (one half to be exact) to give it a vintage feel, but not so much as to date it as 'trendy.' The ruching on the bodice combined with the floral print and silhouette just further enhances the retro look.

Dresses like this are pure gold, because you can dress them up or down, take them to the office or out on the town. Its like two dresses for the price of one!

Palm Beach Party

I don't know whether its the pattern, the colors, or the giant bell sleeves, but I always feel like I should be back in 1960's Palm Beach when I wear this. While the dress itself is very bold, the material is incredibly light and airy, which is perfect for surviving the heat of the summer. The exaggerated sleeves mean that I won't freeze either with the arctic chill of the office.

To toughen up the vibe slightly, I threw on my trust necklace and my new HRH bracelet that I adore. A match made in heaven if you ask me! 

Now, where is that cabana boy with my daiquiri??
