Everything comes back around in fashion sooner or later-- its like its 1995 all over again lately-- which is I of course hate to get rid of anything. My entire outfit is courtesy of my awesome Mom {ok minus the jacket, bag and shoes} over the years. I always look forward to treasures like these from my mom, she has such great and unique taste!

Like tutus, gold chains and cutoff shorts, striped tops are one of those things I constantly accumulate whether I need them or not {though in my head, I ALWAYS do.} I like that this one is just cropped enough so it works with a high waisted skirt, but not so much that I'll be at risk of creating a scandal at work.

As if you couldn't tell from my instagram, my pinterest, or of course my blog, I can't stop loving/wanting/buying white dresses. Yes, its of course somewhat seasonally inspired, but that can't just be it. Its summer every year {shocking I know} yet I've never been this into it. Eh, no one is complaining except my bank account...

Looking forward to enjoying this {finally} wonderful weather, quality girl time, the usual bubbly, reading and finally back to a little cooking. Yes, cooking WITHOUT my microwave. Its a new era people....

Splurge VS Steal: The Little White Shirtdress

I have been absolutely addicted {no really, I have a problem} to little white dresses. I've been eyeing the splurge version since I first saw it, but knew that given my klutziness, spending that much would be silly. I'd either spill on it, or just forever live in fear of spilling and only eat and drink white/clear things.

Magically though, I stumbled upon this version at Asos. Of course, its not QUITE as amazing, but its pretty close and for 1/3 the price!

Color Crush

I got this dress years back at one of my favorite stores in San Francisco, Ambiance. It was blocks from where my parents used to live and always had a great selection of unique but affordable pieces. Have yet to find somewhere quite the same here...

Most importantly though, I FINALLY got a new couch. Aside from being way more grown-up, its also much better for the outfit shots. Not as good as ACTUAL photos outside {or at least minus the fake walls} but its a start.
